Dear UK Youth Circus Network,

On behalf of all of the participants, leaders and volunteers, we would like to thank you all for making the 1st UK Youth Circus Network Festival a huge success.

With 18 UK Youth Circus Groups and over 90 people in attendance, the three days offered a wide diversity of fabulous training sessions in aerial, Capoiera, roller skating, airtrack, roller roller, German wheel, unicycle, clowning, juggling, circus theatre, skill sharing sessions and time to 'chew the fat' over delicious and plentiful meals, was a joy.

Learning about each other and sharing in circus was an amazing and heartwarming experience.

The fabulous performances on the Reg Bolton Open Stage brought tears to the eyes as young people performed with grace, elegance, penache and extraordinary skill. Congratulations to the brilliant Wookey Hole Circus Troupe too! They entertained us all, acted as hosts and teachers as well (between shows!).

Not only was this first UKYCN Festival a huge success, it built the foundations of the First UK Youth Forum with young people coming together alongside the 5th UK Youth Circus Network meeting. Watch this space -there's bound to be some really exciting news in the months to come!

Once again we thank Gerry Cottle and the Wookey Hole Team for their fantastic support throughout the whole of the UKYCN Festival.
